Trademark Protection Agreement Between People'S Republic Of China And Japan

The government of People's Republic of China and the Japanese government, based on the spirit of the joint statement of the two governments issued in Beijing in September 29, 1972, and in accordance with the desire to protect trade marks to further develop bilateral trade relations, have reached friendly agreements and reached an agreement as follows:



Article 1



The legal person (including the foreign trade body) and the natural person of any party shall enjoy the treatment of no less than any legal person (including the foreign trade body) and the natural person on the territory of the other party on the territory of the other party.



Second article



1. This Agreement shall enter into force on the thirtieth day after the date of the execution of the domestic legal procedures necessary for the entry into force of the respective countries and the exchange of confirmation notices.

This Agreement shall remain valid for three years and shall remain valid until three days after its termination in accordance with the provisions of the second paragraph of this article.



Two. Any Contracting Party shall, within the first three years of its expiry or thereafter, advance the termination of this agreement by written notice to the other party in advance by three months.
