In June 21st, the main cotton producing areas in Tangshan City, Hebei were sunny and well lit. However, due to the low rainfall last week (June 15th -21), some cotton fields are experiencing mild drought.
Up to now, cotton plants have begun to bud, and 2-3 cotton shoots and 3-5 fruit branches are growing well, with 1-2 growth buds and 1-2 fruit branches. At present, the pests and diseases in cotton fields are mainly caused by aphids. According to the weather forecast, this week (June 22nd -28) is mainly sunny, with a maximum temperature of 30-33 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 17-24 degrees Celsius. It is expected that thunderstorms will occur in June 26th, when rainfall will be beneficial to the growth of cotton.
It is understood that the price of lint cotton in Tangshan City is stable, and the price of white cotton grade 3 is 11900-12100 yuan / ton, which is basically the same as that of the previous week. In addition, in order to alleviate the problem of capital shortage, cotton enterprises sell their lint, but sell less. Tangshan City's lint price is expected to remain stable this week.
