Israeli Non-Woven Manufacturers Will Expand Their Production Scale In North Carolina, USA

Avgol is an advanced manufacturer of ultra lightweight nonwovens. The North Carolina state government announced that the company plans to expand its production in Davie county.

The company plans to invest US $35 million in the next three years in Ksville (Mocksvill), creating 42 jobs.

The project may be funded by a 84000 yuan grant from a North Carolina state fund.


The local government says North Carolina is World Africa.

Industry leaders and job creation are the top priorities of the local government.

Expanding trade and attracting investment around the world are crucial to the future economy of the region.


The day before the announcement by the local government, commerce minister Keith Crisco met with Avgol CEO Shlomo Liran at Tel Aviv in Israel.

The conference is part of the US trade delegation, which aims to encourage Israel to invest in North Carolina.

Over the past 18 years, Israel has invested more than $233 million in North Carolina, creating 930 jobs.


Avgol is the world's leading manufacturer of ultra thin and high quality nonwovens.

The main suppliers are babies.

Adult incontinence and female hygiene products manufacturers.

At present, the Mocksville factory has 132 employees, three production lines are running at full capacity, and the company plans to expand fourth new production lines.

In addition to factories in Davie County, Avgol also has production operations in Israel, China and Russia.


Salaries will be determined on the basis of their functions, but the average annual salary of the new job is $33629, including benefits.

The average annual salary of Davie county is 28808 dollars.
