Relevant staff said that the excessive pH value of textiles can not be ignored. If the pH value of textiles is too high or too low, it will damage the skin's balance and resistance, causing skin allergy or inducing infection, and making the skin vulnerable to other pathogens.

However, 7 samples failed to pass the monitoring, and the pH value of textiles directly exposed to skin was as high as 9.3.

Clothing with unqualified color fastness can also cause harm to human health.

"This is mainly manifested in water fastness, unfastness to rubbing fastness, etc. it is not only very easy to decolorization and dyeing, but also may cause skin irritation or discomfort, affecting human health."

According to the national standard, there are 9 contents: clothing must be clearly stated, including product name, product size and specification, ingredients and content of raw materials, washing method, manufacturer's name and address, product standard number, product quality grade and product quality inspection certificate.
