Nike Releases Android Version Of Fuelband Fitness Application

It is reported that Nike Finally, fuelband fitness application is released for Android platform.

Previously, the wireless synchronization service of nike+ fuelband information only supports IOS devices, and all users can transmit data through Nike's official website on the USB port of fuelband wristband. At present, fuelband application has landed in Google play application store, compatible with Android 4.3 and higher version of the system.

Last year, Nike official Android mobile phone cannot support unified Bluetooth Le technology, which is why fuelband does not login to Android platform. Stefan olander, vice president of Nike digital sports, also said that although Nike had long worked with apple, Nike did not let fuelband become the exclusive application of IOS platform.

Two years ago, Nike officially released fuelband applications. Just a few months ago, technology website CEET reported that Nike would reduce the number of developers of fitness hardware and delay the release of an upcoming fuelband application update. In a statement, Nike confirmed that the company would prioritize "digital sports staff".

Since then, Nike has increased the distribution channel of fuelband equipment and reduced the price of equipment.

Fuelband applications require users to use fuelband wristbands. At present, mapmyfitness and other fitness tracking applications can be completely used on smart phones without using other fitness equipment.
